Absolutely spectacular views of Bangkok! Friendly resposive staff. We were earlyfor check-in, so our rooms were not ready. We requested 2 rooms on the same floor. We went to explore the city and were told we would get an email when the rooms were ready. Unfortunately I never received it. Returning we found that they wanted to put us in a suite together with 2 bedrooms. They said they sent an email, but evidently we didn't receive it. When they were informed that it was not acceptable, they put us (stated an upgrade) in suites on different floors. Not that big of a deal, but not what I had requested.

The hotel room is very large and clean , breakfast is excellent . The perk they provided was 2 bottles of Chang’s beer , I told the reception we don’t drink beer but he refused to change any other drinks .

Restaurants were fine as always, overall still a decent place but I will likely not return again. Seems very rundown and old now, I had to flush my toilet bowl 4 times to get it cleared. Water temperature control from the taps now very inconsistent and tacky. We booked a room with a master bed but was given a room with twin bed because the hotel is apparently full. Very disappointing experience and note it was NOT a last minute request, it was exactly what we booked and paid for but was given a different product. We were offered a room change after two days but still find it very unacceptable.
