Before I signed up for this stay I read reviews and some didnt like the no reception and code for entry into rooms, but for me this was so convenient and easy. However, the check in could have been more prominently displayed and easier to access. Consequently, I have neither checked in nor out!!! Bit of a flaw.

Convenient position for us to visit family at an affordable price. Loved to have cafe there, for coffee and simple breakfast. Dining available onsite for meals. Lovely and clean and quiet. Very good experience.

We were last minute guests as we live nearby but our house was being painted. Got reservation around 4.30pm and were there in our room at 6.00. No fuss, all online. Enjoyed nice meal at hotel restaurant.

The Statesman is well located next to shops and cafes and is generally a quiet location. The room was clean and even though I had not experienced the coded process for accessing the room, we managed it quite OK.
