We had a very nice stay at Le Meridien, Chiang Rai. The resort is beautiful. Rooms are spacious, staff is wonderful, and dining options are plentiful.

Beautiful resort
We stayed at the Meridien in Chiang Rai for 6 nights over NYE. The resort is beautiful and really well maintained. The service in bars and restaurants friendly and efficient. The hotel pool was lovely if a bit cold. Our room was large and quiet being away from the central areas which we really liked. We enjoyed the NYE gala which had live music, an international buffet and fireworks. We we went on a few private tours the hotel arranged or recommended which were great and we really enjoyed. Only negative is the hotel is quite far out from town so you need to catch Grab taxis everywhere but this was fine as very cheap and reliable. The hotel also uses this service which was great. Overall we had a great, enjoyable stay at the hotel and would recommend to anyone travelling to the area.

Only problem with Check-in and payment but other than that the resort is five star and beautiful

We have paid for the pool view room but the 2nd room we were given was blocked my two pillars… first room was difficult to stay with the sewage smell so we had to change to room on our second day. Although the gestures of goodwill was nice but we weren’t content with the second room either.
