Great Everything!
We always love staying at the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown River North! We love their buffet breakfast--with made-to-order omelets--plus their evening reception with snacks and a few complimentary drinks. Their lobby and atrium area are great common spaces. The staff is always wonderful. They are currently doing renovations so a few floors were under construction. We stayed in a renovated room and loved the upgrades! None of the renovation work interrupted us; we were out most of the day. The location to the Red Line/Grand Station is superb! Lots of bus stops within a block as well. Very walkable to Michigan Avenue. The only downside I've found with this location is that it doesn't have a hot tub. The pool is indoor and heated; I wouldn't say it's cozy warm but it is certainly much better than other pools! Even without a hot tub, we'll keep visiting!
