I loved this property the view was absolutely spectacular, my family and I rented a condo at this resort and the condo was amazing a huge kitchen with everything in it, the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, dishes, silverware everything you need to cook with. The living room was large with a sleeper sofa, and with 2 long patio windows on both sides with the view of the beach in South Padre Island, and a patio with wooden chairs and a table to sit and capture the view. The 1st room was large with a view of the beach and pools. The 2nd room was large as well with 2 window but the view was not as amazing as the 1st but still a nice view. 2 bathrooms 1st room full bathroom with a walk-in shower only, and the 2nd room a full bathroom with a shower & tub. Both rooms had walk-in closets just Amazing! The staff was nice and friendly the hotel was just a sight to see. My family and I will most definitely vacation here again. The only issue i had was that the linen was not clean on the sleeper sofa, and our room was only cleaned once during our stay even though we only stayed 3 days. All other beds had clean linen and comfortable. That’s the only reason why I only gave 4 stars for the staff & service

AMAZING BIT OF HISTORY

The some of the previous reviews concerned me BUT how surprised was I!! I loved staying here. Yes, elements are dated but that was part of the charm for me. Our room was clean and spacious. The bathtub was a garden tub. The cafe on the 1st floor had incredible coffee and muffins AND there's a complimentary coffee station in the lobby if you prefer. The location is AMAZING! SO MANY GOOD FOOD OPTIONS WITHIN A 10 MINUTE WALK AT MOST! Even with paying for the valet I still came out cheaper than staying some else that "included parking." The valet service was lovely and diligent. You are staying downtown so expect to see the homeless. It's sad to see but I was not bothered by anyone. I would totally stay here again.
