Standard hotel, ideal location for getting around the city centre, shops all close by and the tram getting back to the airport is on the doorstep. Downside, room was basic, no fridge, no room service. Breakfast was just chaos we never sat upstairs in the main dining area, we were in the bar area, nothing was on the tables, I had to keep getting up and down to get cutlery, condiments etc. Pretty basic breakfast, limited choice. One breakfast staff member in particular was grumpy, no service with a smile, and was quite rude when I asked for a spoon for the eggs, she said no we're taking this away now, there's food upstairs... Again inconvenient seeing as I had my 4 year old son sitting on his own downstairs whilst I'm having to keep going upstairs. Also the food was being taken away at 09:10, service is meant to finish at 10am...

My thoughts
The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of options for breakfast. We were able to park easily, despite the carpark only having 7 spaces and the hotel is situated nicely. The only downside was that the hotel didn't have a restaurant, so we wete unable to order food in the evening, when the kids were too tired to go back out.

Amazing Location
Hotel was clean , perfectly situated opposite a tram stop . Breakfast was good . Tea and coffee complimentary all day if needed . Lots of restaurants within walking distance and all sights are either walkable or available on the tram line

Some good some not so good.
Hotel is in a great location, a short walk from the station. It is directly across the road from the Edinburgh Playhouse and The Omni Centre with pubs and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and all staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was small and quite basic but beds were very comfy. Bathroom was small and there was a high step up to the shower tray. Some of the tray sealant was quite mouldy. Breakfast was really good.

The front desk staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Breakfast was hot and topped up quickly. Hotel room had everything we needed...shower was lovely. Hotel was overall very clean. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again.
