Ideally situated for us, easy walking to pubs, restaurants, groceries, beer, and even some tourist areas.. Free city transit just down the street. Not much shopping nearby. A worthwhile hotel choice for a reasonable price. A bit noisy with college kids, but not too bad.

The room was quaint and clean. The location was perfect. We had a great time and would go back. We were in room 3. There are a couple things we wish they would correct 1) the double bed is on a queen frame. This leaves the wooden frame exposed. I gouged my shin on the corner. This could be prevented if they had a queen bed. Then the wood wouldn’t be exposed. 2) There would be more privacy if there were artificial plants on the rod iron gate. The same artificial plants that are on the rod iron fence would look nice and offer privacy.

Nice property. Clean and well-maintained. The exception, and it's a big one, is that the bed mattress was very worn out. To look at the mattress, one could not tell that it was worn out. However, once you lay down on it you will be in for a big surprise. The mattress sags badly when your weight is on it. By the way, I only weigh 160 pounds. So my weight was not the issue. This mattress was so bad that it was very difficult to sleep and what sleep I did get was of poor quality. I sent a message to the property management and they said they would send someone to take a look at it. To my knowledge, no one ever showed up. I spoke with another guest of the hotel whose mattress was apparently just as bad. They also messaged the property management who said they would send someone to check on their mattress and they never showed up for them either. This is a nice property but the poor condition of the mattresses totally soured the experience and I will never stay at this property again. Shame on Lockl for allowing their mattresses to deteriorate into such awful condition. I wish I could get a refund for this miserable experience at their hotel.

Fun in the sun.
Overall the room was well maintained and clean. However, the little side/end tables looked like they needed to be dusted. The pool was also not very clean when we first arrived but at some point the did send someone to clean the pool because during our second use, the water was clear instead of yellow. The only thing that I really disliked was the fact that you can hear anything and everything that is happening in the adjoining rooms. So our first night the residents in the room next to us were having some kind of blowout party with loud obnoxious music, screaming, and yelling that lasted until 1030pm, so after quiet hours had started. They checked out things were quiet for a little bit and then some new tenants checked in with young kids. And we could hear the parents talking loud and sternly to said children. The pool at this property is AMAZING by the way loved the depth of the water so much better than the tiny little bathtub size pools in basic hotels. Plus its heated. I would definitely stay here again. Shopping plaza is within walking distance as well.

Want sensitive information sent over a text link. Won't be doing that ever again. My room was separated by a closet door to another room. People partying and fighting all hours of the night. Very poor experience overall. Would not stay there again.

Nice but Spartan
Property was clean and quiet, with beautiful landscaping and a nice pool. The room was a bit spartan -- AC units in both rooms, but no ceiling fan in the bedroom. TVs in both rooms, although I couldn't figure out the remote control access. And it seemed a little weird that they wanted us to take out the trash as we left -- isn't that one of housekeeping's jobs?

A jewel centrally-located to it all.
This is a nice jewel off the main drag that quickly got me to the convention center, the beach area, or even downtown. It felt central to me in that respect. Security is high with cameras everywhere. The neighborhood is safe and even has a great raw bar seafood restaurant across the street. Casa Cordova even has a pool. The rooms have little kitchenettes in them. Refrigerators, etc. Shower was walk-in and heavenly. I will be back the next time I return to Ft. Lauderdale

We did not get the apartment we expected.it was completely different. It was missing kitchen stuff, unfinished windows very dirty, unable to open any window, no outdoor place to sit ,apartment was upstairs 16 steps, we are unable to walk up . Needed help.. lost power. Box was hidden behind a picture ! Had to ask for things . TV situation was foreign to us ! Basically a nightmare! The pool was nice & warm
