Whilst the hotel was nice and a good location on departure the staff charged us destination fee of 80USD which was not mentioned in the initial payment. Furthermore checed my bank statement and find the Hyatt had charged 280.00AUD which is more than the amount on 80USD. NOT HAPPY WITH THE ADDED COST AND THE INCORRECT AMOUNT CHARGED

It was a great place to stay for my first visit to Hawaii. Diamond Head was so close, I could see it every time I looked out the window…the Honolulu Zoo was across the street…the beach was down the street…awesome…awesome trip!

Room smelled the whole time we were there. When we first arrived there was hair in the shower from previous party. Often times are room was not cleaned up after and they didn't refill our shower products until asked.

The ocean view room I paid more for was a sliver of view down the street. Nothing like the pictures online. The beach chair system was bizarre. To have to ask for chairs daily as early as 5:30am was bonkers. Why don’t all rooms have chairs available to guests? There were days we ended up with the last of the bottom of the barrel and rusty chairs that should’ve been in the garbage. Parking was another issue. Disaster, to say the least. On a bright note, the housekeeping and breakfast staff were top notch. Very helpful and friendly. Convenient walk to the beach and the main shopping area of Waikīkī beach.
