This hotel is our usual place to stay when we go to Kataragama with the whole family. It’s very welcoming and a happy place to stay for the night. Very clean and food is great.

we have stayed at Mandara Rosen a lot of time in the past but never had a bad experience like this time. We booked accommodation a few months back and requested a rollaway bed but it was not organised when we checked in. Sadly I had to ask 3 times to get the extra bed organised. Not to mention, staff has forgotten to put the pillow cases! We were so disappointed with the service and condition of the property. It used to be the best hotel in Katharagama but not anymore. Truly disappointed and not going to recommend this hotel for to anyone.

Mandara Rosen stinks. There was a smell of sewerage all over the place. It was nauseating.

It’s a very good place good soirrounding . Luckily still managing and maintaining this place same as 20 years ago. But needs more additions such as user friendly for comments
