The hotel overall was descent, but it needs updating. The was NO vent in the bathroom, no usb ports, and overall it looked a bit run down. The hotel is in a beautiful location and has beautiful scenery, but our windows were a bit dirty to see out of. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Hoover Dam and 30-45 minutes from the Vegas strip. The staff was lovely and very accommodating, the facilities just need improvements.

Nice Hotel Near Hoover Dam & Lake Meade
This hotel is very close to the Lake Meade Marina and Hoover Dam so it was perfectly situated for us. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and kind. The breakfast in the Cafe restaurant within the hotel was very nicely prepared and fresh. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Our room looked out towards Lake Meade. The restaurant on Lake Meade was very enjoyable. The Hoover Dam is amazing. Be sure to go to the National Park visitor center near the marina. We would stay here again to visit the Marina and Hoover Dam.

We liked the diversity of places to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Our only problem was the heater in our room make a loud noise when it ran. We finally turned it off so we could sleep.

Just bypass this place
Thought this might be a fun place but it wasn't. They say they have 2 restaurants but they aren't real restaurants. There are individual casinos inside the lodge, which each had a so called place to eat with a menu. But the seating in them is a small table or two, maybe, between the slot machines and smokers. Very weird set up. The one and only Cafe would not seat us for dinner, at 5:30 pm, because a group of people (5) had come in and the chef said "No more people could be seated". There was maybe 10 people We were told to come back in 10 minutes to see if we could get in, but after waiting were told no way. The lady host/waitress was rude from the beginning. Kind of left us no choice but to grab a slice of pizza from their General Store next to the cafe. Not what we had in mind for dinner at a hotel. The King standard rooms are big but very dated and could use some improvements. The sofa is old and dirty, the bathroom flooring is so old it looked dirty, the carpet had lots of stuff stuck to it, especially by the sink. Unfortunately, ot's the closest hotel to the Hoover Dam. If you can, find a different place to stay.

A good stay
We liked the location. The food in the restaurant was good and the service was very good. The hotel is quiet and clean. All the staff was very pleasant. The room was clean, no coffee in room, did have microwave and refrigerator, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. We would stay there again.

The resort and casino is in a very quiet area. Great access to the road going into Hoover Dam area. Gas station/convenience store across the street. Hiking trails to Lake Mead right from the parking lot. Great parking if you've got a rig. Hotel lobby/casino/main floor are quiet and has a very updated, welcoming vibe. Smoking is allowed but it was not overpowering. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and both meals were good and half the price of going off site. Market inside the hotel has snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Lots of history and pictures of the area make it fun to walk around. The rooms were very clean but outdated. Brown on brown, minimal furniture, lighting wasn't the best for the size of the room. We had a double king....HUGE room!! Has a large TV but only shows local channels...not a smart TV. One side chair, desk chair, small desk, and coffee table. Bathroom was clean, large walk-in shower. Don't get me wrong...I am not complaining at all! For the price, this hotel is a great stay. The staff was amazing and so friendly and the place was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.
