I made another reservation for another room for a friend of mine and they pretended that the reservation was not received but in the mean time they charged my credit card. I have been in this resort about 12 times but apparently it has been in decline with no outlets to charge your phone or tablets, just an old one by coffee machine, one by niglht table, and one in bathroom with no USB connections in all three. the final straw was at check out when my friend came to pick me up to take me to the airport, I told the clerk at front desk to tell the security guard at the gate to let him in, he told yes he is coming to pick you up. I waited and waited, went back to ask if he is coming? he said yes and waited and waited, went back and told him I am going to miss my flight, waited and waited and then he said you have to meet him at the security gate. I had walk all the way with my suitcases to meet my friend who was going to take me to the airport for free. So my travelers fellows this resort is like a Mafia making commission from tranportation, and it's the last time I am going back.
Sorry Riu Republica you lost a loyal costumer.
