Just Back From Greece

Nightlife in Athens was so good, the people, the culture, what a great experience for me to have the opportunity to see where my parents grew up..

After Athens we headed to Mykonos, 'the party island', was very nice, shopping was great & enjoyed my stay there..

After Mykonos we ended up in Santorini. WOW incredible... I believe everyone visiting the Greek Islands must see Santorini. The island is so beautiful...the beaches, the nightlife the shopping, the people. We hired a smart car and drove around the island. We visited red,white and black beach were the sand was those colours... From Oia that had the amazing sunset to Thira I will definitely go back there one day.

Had the opportunity to also visit Crete. Went to Heraklion and visited the Palace of Knossos which i studied about back in High School. Amazing Arhitecture. It tells us of the history & mythology of its people - the Minoans, Masters of the Sea.

Most of my stay was in Chania, visited famous beaches... the nightlife was awesome...Greeks definitely know how to party!

After Greece before we went home did a stopover in Dubai for 5 nights. What an amazing city, we visited Wild Wadi - Dubai's Premier Water Park & Emirates mall that's famous for the Ski Park inside the shopping centre, that was great fun..

Had the opportunity to go 4WD driving in the dessert sands, incredible! Then enjoyed dinner - had typical Arabic cuisine whilst watching belly dancers and smoking argilia was great to experience the culture.

Our last night finished in style! We visited the famous 7 star hotel - Burj Arab and had a three course meal....the hotel is so luxurious - definitely a must see, even though our dinner cost around $300 it was all worth it. From the lifts to the wall panels everything was gold plated!

Our trip with Emirates was most enjoyable, it is a great airline I will definitely fly with them again.
