This volunteer program is organised by 'Wild Mob', a non-profit organisation with the objective to help save and protect some of Australia’s most unique habitats. They work closely with Australia’s Natural Resource Managers.
Wild Mob needs volunteers to help with environmental conservation work on Brampton Island. Projects include; eradicating weeds on the island foreshores, the collection of rubbish on the beaches andconduct on-going surveys and health checks on the coral. Volunteers travel to the island on our 50ft catamaran ‘Wild Cat’, then get the opportunity to view the reef via snorkel during high tide, or by foot on a guided tour during low tide, before setting up a camp site for the evening on the beach on Western Bay.
