Frequent Flyer Program: South African Airways' Voyager
The Frequent Flyer Program of South African Airways is known as Voyager. After flying three Sectors, you will receive a Membership welcome pack comprising your personalised card and a comprehensive Voyager Member guide. You stand a chance to earn miles while either flying or using the services of South African Airways and its partners. Voyager offers five Tier Status levels – Blue, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Lifetime Platinum. As part of the Program, you automatically earn Miles from simply doing what you often do anyway. Although these Miles do not count towards Tier Status they will however assist in increasing your balance and thereby your ability to obtain Awards. Your Miles can be earned in the following ways; Enrolment Bonus Miles: You will receive 2,500 Miles once your first activity is recorded on your new Voyager account
Tier activity Bonus Miles: Your Tier Status is always recognised and rewarded. If you are a Silver, Gold, Platinum or Lifetime Platinum member, your Tier activity Bonus Miles will be a percentage of the actual Miles flown. The number of Miles earned depends on your Tier Status.
Appreciation Bonus Miles: In order to thank you for your loyal support and to recognise and reward their elite members for flying on South African Airways, you will receive additional Bonus Miles. 2,000 Miles will be allocated to your account for every 10,000 Tier Miles flown on South African Airways only.
Business and First Class Bonus Miles: When travelling on South African Airways, you are entitled to a class bonus of 25% when travelling in Business Class and 50% when travelling in First Class.
Special promotions Bonus Miles: You may receive extra Miles during special offers which the Programme may present from time to time.
Threshold Bonus Miles: Every time you qualify for a higher Tier Status, they thank you again. The number of Miles allocated varies depends on the Tier Status achieved.
