		Kuta and Legian Kuta is the centre of activity in Bali. It has excellent restaurants, activities and shops. Ideal for younger people wanting to party. Surf Information: The best time of year to surf this area is during the dry season from the months of March to November. This is when the trade winds are blowing offshore. Kuta Beach is the main beach in Bali and is usually crowded but there are many banks to get a wave on. 		Sanur Sanur is the Kuta of the east side of Bali. It sprang up in the 80's as un upmarket area for resort accommodation. Sanur is laid back, tranquil with a good variety of restaurants and shops. It also has a good nine hole golf course. Surf Information: Best time of year for this side of Bali is from November to March with the trade winds offshore. 		Nusa Dua Nusa Dua is the most picturesque and upmarket accommodation in Bali. Surf Information: The best time for surf on this side of Bali is from November to March. Sri Lanka – a hollow right that needs size and proper swell direction outside Nusa Dua. 		Medewi Located in West Bali this is home to a mellow righthander that works best in a 2 metre swell on mid to high tide. Just make sure your there early before the trade winds pick up. Surf Information: The break at Medewi is a long righthander that breaks over a sand and rock bottom. While it is a long ride it isn't as hollow as Padang Padang and other breaks. Early morning is the best time to surf this wave on the mid to high tide. Medewi Beach Cottages
		Greenballs The Bali Cliff Resort is the only resort in this region, but is in close proximity to Nusa Dua, Bingin, Balangan, Uluwatu and Jimbaran Bay. It is one of the closest resorts to the surf breaks at Uluwatu. Surf Information: Uluwatu host some of the best surf spots in the world. They breakwell all year round and are for more advanced surfers. Green Balls – good righthand reef break directly in front of the Bali Cliff Resort Uluwatu – this world famous left is divided into three breaks; 1. The Peak – is a high tide, hollow, workable left 2. Race track – a mid-low tide screaming left barrel 3. Outside corner – a low tide wave that goes off over 8 foot Padang Padang – an exceptionally hollow left Bingin – a clean, fun left tube Impossibles – a very fast, long left Balangan – a long racy left that is good up to 10 foot Airport Left and Rights – hollow waves near the end of the runway.
