Other malls where you can give a short visit include Paragon, Heeren and Lucky Plaza. There are even museums like the Chinatown Heritage Centre where you can find some information about Chinatown's history. You also cannot miss the Sri Mariamman Temple on the South Bridge Road and the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in Little India.
For all those beach enthusiasts, you can head down to Sentosa. Sentosa houses some of the world famous beaches and forts. You can visit Fort Siloso before jumping in the sea. Fort Siloso is a colonial-era British fort. Among the beaches are the Siloso beach, Palawan beach and the Tanjong beach. Palawan beach is said to be the southern most tip of the Asian continent.
A few other “must see” places in Singapore include Animal Kingdom, Isles of Singapore, Singapore River and World War II Sites.
Singapore usually has a sunny climate as it is located just 1.5 degrees to the North of the Equator. There are no distinct seasons in Singapore. Thunder storms occur throughout the year, mostly in the afternoons. The average temperatures here are about 26°C (79°F) in the daytime and 24°C (76°F) at night in December and January and 31°C (89°F) in the daytime and 26°C (80°F) at night for the rest of the year.
Singapore has a buzzing nightlife. In many parts of Singapore life begins at night. For all the party animals, it is like a hub. There are many lush, classy lounges, chic bars and dance clubs where you can let your feet loose. Even if you are a food lover, there are 24-hour coffee houses to service your dining needs. Even for shoppers the city does not sleep. You can shop in the night if you are very busy in the daytime. Almost all the malls offer late night shopping facility. Of the malls Mustafa Centre is a famous 24-hour shopping mall. Therefore there is no end to fun in Singapore.....not even in the nights.
For all Australian passport holders no visa is required for up to 90 days. Also all the tourists should have a valid passport for 6 months. In case of health requirements, no vaccinations as such are required before travelling to Singapore, however it is advised to check with your doctor for any specific medical requirement.
