Clean hotel in central Athens

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: I did not like the location right next to the sex shop. Next time I will try to stay somewhere closer to Plaka.
Location: Same as above. Although it was only a 15 minute walk to Ermou.
Stayed for 4 nights in July. The room was clean and comfortable, with good air con. Breakfast was good value with bread, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, juice, yoghurt, fruit. I did not like the location next to the sex shop and there were sometimes shady characters around. But sticking to the main streets I felt fairly safe.

A great location close to everything

Pros: The price is good, easy to get to from the train, the room was clean and quiet.
Cons: Nothing, the hotel is what you would want for the price.
Location: The train lines are close and the Acropolis is a 20min walk away, shorter if you take the train. Monastiraki is a 5-10min walk away.
We had a lovely time at the hotel. The location was a short walk to all the train lines, as well as the Acropolis. The staff were very accomodating and even held our bags for a few days as we travelled to the islands. The room was clean and quiet and the air-conditioning was very nice with the heat. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay within our budget. Sure there is a sex shop opposite it but we did not see anything untoward during our week long stay, nor did we have any trouble from anyone.
