I expected better
Check in was confused with some problem causing difficulty which left me standing for some time without explanation. Bistro that night was undermanned, staff rushed off their feet. Biggest shock was next morning when daylight exposed brown stains on the carpet - blood or worse? Is this why the lighting is dim? Receptionist on checkout was most apologetic and promised a manager would contact me. Needless to say no contact made.

Amazing hotel.. very helpful and welcoming staff who would go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Special praise to Alex on Reception whose attention to detail, friendliness, efficiency and eagerness to accommodate our requirements in every way makes her an amazing asset to this hotel.
