Good hotel, great but staff but overworked
Been to this hotel before and would return as a stop off for our many trips to Cornwall. Hotel has been modernised but still seems understaffed to us. On entry staff were very helpful but the rooms, although modern were very cold. The air on on the ground floor room had to be reset, the first floor room had no air on as it had not been fully installed yet, so we had an electric fire that did warm the room up but felt it would have been ready when we arrived. Also missing a remote control for TV, which makes me question final checks. Everything else was good, including food and staff. Although our gammon was a little overcooked for our taste. Did not stay for breaky this time but from memory it was good value. Like I say, we would return.
