We stayed at the Garden Place in 2020 when we were in town for a wedding and had the best experience. We decided to book again to celebrate my birthday/Valentine’s Day and we were incredibly disappointed and will not be staying again. We entered the hotel and saw what looked like the entire staff standing behind the counter, all on their cell phones. Upon checking in, we were not made aware of the $150 deposit, nor did the front desk employee tell us which way our room was. After circling the entire building, upon entering the room, we noticed the window had been left open and wouldn’t shut all the way, nor would it lock. No screen on the window either. Good thing my fiancé and I don’t have small children. We tried putting our belongings in the drawers in the dressers & night stands but the drawers wouldn’t open. I noticed the fitted sheet on the bed was inside out, and upon further inspection noticed what I hope to be a water stain on the mattress protector on one side, and what a very obvious blood stain on the other. On the floor and the bed skirt was a white fluid residue, along with what looked like boogers all over the bed skirt. Unacceptable. There were 3 large screws sticking out of the headboard as if someone tried to keep it from hitting the wall. The wall by the mini fridge was filthy. So many more things but I’m running out of characters. Please contact me. Can provide photos.

This was the biggest waste of money for a place said to be nice more fancy. Holy crap hair and pubic hair all over the sink and the shower. Floor was sticky all throughout the room. The toilet barly flushed and is falling off its base. The exhaust fan in bathroom didnt work at all. The heater in the room rattles like crazy
