The Good: Staff was friendly and the grounds are nice and clean. Felt safe and enjoyed the beach. Food preparation with generally OK and the staff did ask about food allergies and restrictions. The Bad: All of the nice restaurants on the property have quite a few meals that are not all inclusive, and have extremely high prices. There are pretty much zero options at the steakhouse... only the burger I think was included. And anything that includes steak is about $100 US or more. The Mexican restaurant and Italian restaurant have more options, but still many that are off the table unless you wan to pay up in a big way. Also, they advertise great 24 hour room service. I was given a lot of trouble for trying to get 2 cans of beer delivered to my room. They wanted to charge extra. The room comes with 4 beers in the minibar. Apparently that is their limit for the day. Shameful to call this place all inclusive. We have stayed a handful of places over the years, and we have never had these type of restrictions. Booked a room with a balcony. We switched rooms twice in the first day, and still did not have a nice balcony. Heard other people staying there complaining of similar situations. About 1/3 of their rooms actually have balconies...so it seems like its a first come first serve situation.

This was our 4th stay at FAC. We were very disappointed upon arrival to find that the swimup bar was closed for repairs. While I understand repairs need to be done, this information should have been listed on Expedia for people to be aware of prior to booking. The swim up bar is one of our must haves at AI resorts and looking at the big blue tarp all week was an eyesore. We would have chose another resort.

The staff throughout the property were excellent. They were very helpful and courteous. The front desk staff not so much. They made promises that they couldnt keep and just caused unnecessary delays.

it was a nice stay, they need more options for people who dont eat pork or drink alcohol. on my last day there my room didn’t have any hot water completely shut which is weird for a Hotel/resort
