The property is nice, location is convenient enough. However, what sets this Shanghai-La apart was their management team and the hotel staffs, we felt genuinely welcomed and every staffs that we came across was very friendly and hospitable. Especially Horizon Club staffs Janeth, Rajiv and Keith, they all served us exceptionally well, a beyond 5 star service especially from Janeth, on our very last afternoon Janeth personally cut and prepared a fruit platter for us and had made us tea to go just before we checked out, we were deeply touched by their outstanding services. House keeping Aslam not only placed a vase with roses in our room but had left a handwritten note to thank us, very nice personal touch. Managers at the lobby performed equally well, very accommodating and have arranged a late checkout for us without our request, our flight was 1:55am in the morning, being able to relax in our room and the Horizon Lounge had made our stay at this Shangri-La Dubai extra relaxing and comfortable. Overall, we are more than satisfied with everyone’s service at this hotel. We initially stayed three nights but had returned for additional three nights at this hotel solely because of the staff’s excellent and exceptional services. Great job everyone at the Shanghai-La Dubai, your upper management should be very proud of all of you and the hotel!
