Convenient location. Appreciated the washer and dryer in the room - although it was very small. Enjoyed being able to cook our own meals - although some signage on the stove tops would be helpful. We were able to reserve parking which was very convenient. Beds were uncomfortable and carpet was very old and chairs were stained - which does not fit the descriptor of ‘modern’ apartments so was not quite to the standard of what we were expecting considering the price we paid for four nights.

It had everything we could possibly need for a short stay including a washing machine and dryer, dish washer, microwave and oven with cool top. The basics such as linens and cricket and cutlery were also on hand as well as tea and coffee making. It is very well located at the bottom of the Royal Mile making sight seeing a breeze as well. All in all a great place to stay.

Good location and a close walk to Royal Mile and Holyrood obviously. Kitchenette well equipped. Wifi very sporadic in our room unfortunately. Would stay again because of location.

Lovely accomodation, location was great, staff were lovely and addressed our concerns immediately. Nice to have a bit of space, and a kitchen and in room laundry was great! Will definitly stay there again on our return to Edinburgh.

Great location (stone’s throw from Arthur’s Seat) and a nice apartment. The only down side was the breakfast, which was pretty ordinary - some mini packs of cereal, loaf of bread and instant coffee (plungers supplied but no real coffee). Next time I would go the room only rate and have breakfast out.

Great location. Beautiful kitchen, but could do with some tongs for cooking/serving. Didn't need, but don't recall seeing a can opener, vegetable peeler, bottle opener. Great selection of carving/chopping knives but they need sharpening. Tiniest chopping board I've ever seen for a kitchen inviting you to use it. Tiny table, but hey - we ate sitting on the bed. Great to have air-con. We used it a lot as building got quite warm. Wonderful bed. Very comfy. Major design fault with shower screen. It needs to be much wider, or also have a curtain as the floor gets very wet unless you stand right in the corner of the bath to wash. A useful towel rail in the bathroom would be good. Bathroom very clean and plenty of room for toiletry bags, make-up etc.

Very close to the Royal Mile approx half minute

Pros: Convenient to Royal Mile , room very good size for 2 travelling friends to share, large room, very clean , moden amenities
Cons: Can't think of any thing to be improved
Location: One lane way from Royal Mile closer to the Hollyrood House end of the road
Modern but all the comforts required for a travellers including kitchen and washing machine combined with dryer. Comfortable beds (twin)0

Hotel central to Old Town Edinburgh

Pros: Its central location was its main attraction for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We appreciated the opportunity to wash our clothes.
Cons: The hotel can be quite noisy, even at night and early morning. It would be difficult to address the noise issues though.
Location: All of Edinburgh's Old Town attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace are within easy walking distance..
As a family of four, we stayed here for Edinburgh's New Year celebrations. The location was excellent, with our destinations within easy walking distance.

Hard & Uncomfortable Beds

Definitely not worth the money, the apartment was dirty, noisy, cold & the beds were very hard & uncomfortable. The carpets & couch were stained & the room was dusty & smelt. The floors creak loudly when you walk on them as well, I think it must be a wooden floor under the carpet. The lift was out of order, as was the treadmill in the gym. The staff at the front desk were polite & helpful though. If you are thinking of staying here, keep looking!
