The setting of the motel is beautiful, surrounded by trees in blossom, and with a view of Mt. Taranaki. The room was very spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. A back door opened onto a deck, with comfortable wooden deck chairs, overlooking a beautiful big lawn surrounded by trees. I would have liked blinds over both the front and the back doors, as these let in a lot of light at night.

We have 3 active boys and it was great to have a large unit where we could all stretch out! We even managed to see the Mountain for 20 mins!!!

I booked and paid through Wotif for a 1-bedroom apartment with a Queen bed and two singles, for my friend and myself. on checking in we were shown to a room that had only a Queen bed. when I pointed out that's not what I booked, we were given a studio with a Queen bed and a single but no bedroom. this was better but still not what I paid for.
