Lovely property 10min east of downtown Hilo
The pictures accurately reflect this nice condo immediately next door to great snorkeling at Carlsmith Beach Park. We loved the open lanai with ocean views. When I booked I requested an early check-in which the property manager said would be no problem. However, she then texted me the day before our arrival to tell me this wasn't possible. When I complained she then made arrangements to get us in an hour early. We were also given the wrong name for the key lock box (Honu Ekahi given instead of Honu Elua) but these were overall not big deals. Communication with property manager Iliahi was easy through the VRBO app text and she responded promptly. Overall, this is a lovely condo to use as a base to explore the East side of the Big Island. Bring quarters if you plan to do laundry! The laundry is outside the condo and costs $2.25 for wash and $2.25 for dry.

Great spot!!
Perfect spot for our time in Hilo. Really beautiful view, easy snorkeling here and a few minutes south as well. Would recommend 100%. Comfortable bed and lovely home.
