the hotel and staff where both great. Minor details and aging aside.it was our favorite hotel in kamloops that we have stayed in for 13(ish) years. the restaurant however has lead me to find another hotel to frequent. This was the third time that the food was below the standard of the past. The scrambled "eggs" where so grainy and weird that it was inedible. The server was dressed as if she worked at a biker bar, not a hotel restaurant. Off putting to be polite. Unfortunately both of our breakfast left a bad taste in our mouth (pardon the pun). As a person in hospitality for more than 25 years i can appreciate staff making mistakes and have forgiven them here before. Never Again.
