The hotel was well kept, the staff were both helpful and friendly and the location in the old town was excellent. The breakfasts were substantial and there was plenty of choice. Everything about the hotel was excellent.

Best Location!
The location of this hotel could not be better for those wishing to stay in Alfama. The No. 28 Tram runs right in front which is a great launching pad for exploring Lisbon. The staff are wonderful and the service and breakfast are excellent. We’ll stay her again when we return.

Beautiful hotel.. beautiful location
My stay here was fantastic. The room was small, but very clean, cute and cozy. The riverside balcony view was beautiful. The hotel was perfectly located in Alfama.. walking distance to many sites. The Alfama streets are so charming! I'm so looking forward to my next visit.

For a tourist, this location is great with easy access to tours and trams (right outside the front door) and walking. My room was up-to-date, extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is super— genuinely nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is a gem. I read others’ reviews about the service here, and they were all true. The hotel is beautiful and quaint and cheerful; the breakfast spread in the morning is a cut-above; and the care shown by the staff was memorable. They were so accommodating and helpful. Anything we asked for they treated like a no-brainer. I can’t recommend this place enough!
