It was close to everything and it was relatively quiet being next to the city center. Although, in my room the A/C was not working, but the staff did try to fix the issue, and helped recommend excellent restaurants!

Wonderful place to stay!
We loved our stay here! Great location for exploring Lisbon! The room was very large, very clean, and a beautiful view of the river. A little mold over the walls in the bathroom but there is no AC in there so it is understandable. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming! We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing place to experience best of Lisbon
I came back to the hotel after traveling to Porto for a few days. The place felt like home. Beautifully located, amazingly clean and comfortable, with welcoming and accommodating staff members. Saj, Abdul, and other are the nicest people. Plus all the restaurants right by the door, with tasty foods and coffee. And so close to the river, bike trails, and best sunset spots! Staying at Varandas de Lisboa will make the difference to your visit to Lisbon. Definitely did to mine.
