I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the UMusic hotel in Madrid. I work in the music industry and I was really anxious to check it out. It is a modern jazzy place in an awesome location. I would definitely recommend it and hope to return!

Hotel is centrally located and built on a theatre. We had a room with a premium room with a terrace. This meant we were on the top floor of bedrooms and had access to the terrace which was divided into sections for each other rooms. It was all a bit cramped with no privacy. The room was well equipped and everything was easily to hand. The bath was sustainable - not requiring much water to fill. If you are just getting to know your roommate you will certainly know them better by the end of the holiday as there is no privacy to the toilet. The air conditioning was powerful which meant I could not tell whether the soundproofing was effective. The light illuminating the door as an escape route all night was comforting but not sustainable. The roof top bar looks quite a feature and the pre-arrival email extolled its virtues. Surprising to be told on arrival it was closed for refurbishment.
