Just returned from nine nights (single Dad & two kids, 11 & 5) and we all loved it. I've been to Fiji a couple of times previously but this was the first time out to an island and it was definitely worth the extra expense. Water activities were excellent, in particular the water jungle and even the sand-bar snorkelling was good for kids. Food was pretty good, though it was difficult to get booked into anything other than the main buffet rom for evening meal, but we did go to Tavola twice. I'd probably only do 5-nights next time and go somewhere else too, but I would definitely return here.

The Funky Fish was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist guests. The photos online do not capture the beauty of the place—it’s even better in person. For its price, the Funky Fish is well worth the value, without a doubt. However, getting from the resort to other islands or activities can be somewhat challenging and expensive. The island itself offers limited activities, and the cost of boat transportation can accumulate quickly, each boat trip costing at least $50 FJD. It's something to keep in mind for budgeting purposes. For vegetarians, dining options can be a bit of a challenge. The kitchen staff does their best to accommodate dietary needs, but options are rather limited. The food is generally good, but vegetarians might find the options difficult. Despite these considerations, I would definitely return to the Funky Fish for another visit. Its an incredible place to stay!
