Request for fresh towels
There was a sign in the bathroom, if you need clean towels to let them know. Went to front desk at 9:15 AM to ask for clean towels when they clean the room. The lady at the front desk asked if I wanted them now. I said, no when the room is cleaned. I saw the maids a few rooms down so I mentioned someone is still in the room but will be out in 15 minutes. Asked again if I wanted the towels now. I again said no, when the room is cleaned. The lady asked if we’re leaving for the day. I said yes. The lady informed housekeeping of the clean towels and they can go in the room after 11:00. Not sure why she told them after 11:00 when we were out of the room at 9:30 AM. We returned to the room at 4:15 PM and the room was not clean. Housekeeping came at 4:30 PM and asked if we wanted our room cleaned. I said no because we are already back and ask for fresh towels. My issue is they know we left at 9:30 AM and wanted our room cleaned. Why did they wait until 4:30 PM when they were aware we had one more night. Wouldn’t you clean the guest rooms that are staying for another night before you clean the other rooms. Also, I felt like the lady at the front desk was playing a game with me about the towels.
