I was very angry about the $40.00 per day charge for parking at the site. This was an outrageous fee for something that was not lacking at the facility. I compare it to the charges for parking in Manhattan (where parking is difficult). When I complained, I was told that a 3rd party was responsible for the charge and it could not be changed. Though most everything at the facility was over-charged.

Our stay started out great with the excellent service we got from Alejandro at checkin. He took extra time to make sure we got a room with a great view. Our room was comfortable. The buffet breakfast the next morning was delicious!

Luxury facilities- beautiful gardens-need help
Genuine luxury resort, beautifully appointed rooms and gardens. It was a pleasure listening to the talented musical artists. Breakfast buffet at the Cascades is a culinary treat, especially if you have Mr. San at your table— such a kind professional. Enjoyed strolling through shoppes, especially Amelia’s, as the associate was smart, efficient and knowledgeable. She made shopping there a pleasure. There is room for improvement in general shop personnel training though as most were on their phones and did not acknowledge guests. One shop had numerous knit clothing items with holes (see photo) but the clerk just noted it happens a lot due to use of wood hangers— check your purchases carefully for damage. We also were unable to get luggage assistance or quick parking as only one valet was available which made it difficult for the senior traveling with us. For $60 valet parking the expectation is higher.!

Murals taken down of turn of the century Tennessee. Used to visit 3 or 4 times a year and brought friends. Very disappointed they are gone.
