I would not recommend. At 5:30 am, we had to walk to the corner bodega for coffee. The hotel did not have any. Two old ladies, walking NY streets at 5:30 am? Really? Flew in and arrived at 1:30 pm. Didn't get a room ready until almost 4:00 pm..,

A nice place to stay in the center of the city. One small caveat, the bar that is shown in the pictures for the hotel on the Orbitz website belongs to the restaurant Churrascaria Plataforma - in the back of the hotel, on 49th street. It is an excellent bar, but the connecting door between hotel and restaurant is usually closed.

Good value but missing some essentials
The staff is wonderful, but there were several things that weren’t in the room that were simply odd. I was attracted to staying in this hotel because it included a microwave and a refrigerator, which it did. But the lift-up cabinet door to the microwave falls down unless you hold it up, but then you have just one hand to use to operate the microwave. It was odd to have a microwave and fridge without a single plate, mug, or bowl, no spoon, knife, or fork. Even though I’d brought my own teabags, I had to “borrow” a mug from my conference hotel. (I returned it at the end of the conference!) Also strange is the fact that in my “superior king” room, there was just one lamp in the whole room. So, it was ok for just me, but if there had been two people staying, only one would be as to read a book.
