Unfortunately, I was given a room under the Conference Centre which was being refurbished so the noise from 8.30AM was terrible. They did change my room and then realised that it also would be too close to the renovations and then found me another room. However, it was not available until after 12.30PM, so a greatly disrupted morning. I always stay at the Airways, and have been happy. I just cannot understand why in the first place they chose the room that they did ? Yes, good service and location but poor management this time around regarding room allocation.

I’ve stayed here many times, all have been good. This time not so good, mould in the bathroom, no hot water, extremely noisey ground floor with internal hotel car park traffic, no chain lock for the door, I felt unsafe and did not sleep well, I did not receive requested wake up call. When I mentioned on checkout, I was told that most people don’t like the ground floor on that wing. I travel for work as do my staff, I will be reconsidering Airways for my future stays.
