The cell reception was lousy. We had no WIFI service in our room. We couldn't use text messaging or the phone a majority of our stay. When we did have service, it was very weak and inconsistent. If it had been a working vacation, I wouldn't have been able to use this facility. The desk blamed it on renovations, for the whole week. Also, the spa needs a new hydro pump. Very weak flow from the jets. The staff was pleasant, helpful and busy. I believe they are understaffed.

The hotel was lovely. Having some updating, but did not affect our stay much. The day clerks were just wonderful and very helpful. Could not ask for nicer service. Had an air conditioning problem on the 2nd night, but after we checked out all was taken care of. The area around Castillo Real Resort was just great. Restaurants were so close, walking distance for some. And the best food. We felt safe in that area. And had a room with a balcony with a view of the ocean. Doesn’t get much better then that.

Amazing stay at you hotel
Absolutely amazing hotel the staff were super friendly. The restaurant smells so Devine when you first walk in the lobby. Bathrooms are remarkably clean and very spacious shower.
