Great place. Modern, clean, so much to do, excellent if you want to also incorporate animal spotting in the Pilanesberg National Park.
If you have travelled in the USA, you will be used to staff very welcoming and friendly. Staff at the Cabanas, not friendly, they don’t say good morning and they make you feel you owe them something.

The cabanas is nice and Sun City has lots to offer however, the cabanas does not offer room service. Therefore, you need to walk approx 1km minimum to get food or drive to the Spar outside Sun City. There is also no cash payment allowed so you have to purchase any snacks from the pool bar with your card (if your travelling from overseas like us, you would know this isn’t always ideal so bring a travel card for your stay). It is also really far from all of the attractions i.e. waterpark, maze, sun central so if you have a young family, like us, be prepared to do lots of walking!! The rooms also don’t provide bottled water so you must walk to sun central to get that as well. Overall our stay was ok. The best part was seeing all the animals at the National Park!
