Avoid this hotel! Terrible customer service!
The staff was dismissive and lied to us about complementary parking for University of Chicago Medicine patients. We called ahead of time to confirm and they assured us of the complementary parking onsite. When we arrived they denied it and looked at us like we were lying to them. We even quoted the day, time and name of the customer service rep who told us. They acknowledged the person but said parking is $40... strike one! After a dismissive stare down from the young inexperienced front desk girl, she gave us our keys and we made our way up to our room. Upon arriving at our room, the two keys they gave us did not work! I left my wheel chaired wife in the hallway outside our room's door and went down to get keys that would work. No apologies offered... strike two! Once in our room we had 2 small boxes of water, my wife needs to drink alot of water so I went down to the front desk and the women said she would send two more waters up to our room. The water never came... strike three! Finally, totally disappointed and frustrated with the lack of service and caring for their guests. I called & asked for the general manager who was "unavailable", so I sent him an email asking him to call me to talk about my disappointments... and, you guessed it, no response: no email or call. I don't think anyone cares at this hotel. Please avoid this hotel and spend your well-earned money elsewhere, that is unless you like paying for poor service, dismissive attitudes & total incompetence.
