I booked to stay in a twin room alongside my adult daughter as we were seeing an event at the Arena next door.
The welcome was friendly and we were quickly given our key which was a bonus as we arrived at 1pm and I was expecting to have to leave luggage and wait for our room to be ready.
After a bit of a battle with the lift as you need to scan your room key to operate it and the keys did not always register to enable us to rise, we arrived on the correct floor and soon found our room.
When we arrived in our room, everything was very clean and tidy. A complimentary bottle of water sat on the table and a tray of tea, coffee and biscuits was made available.
The room was warm and the beds comfortable. The shower was lovely.
We booked breakfast for the morning and were delighted with the huge range of items available. Self service buffet style continental breakfast with cereals, with rolls, cheeses, salad and meats, a selection of fruits and yogurts, toasting machine with range of bread to chose from and croissants. If you preferred you could have a full cooked breakfast with choose of bacon, choice of sausages, choice of potato products, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, boiled eggs, tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, beans.
A bar of various fruit juices was available and a staff member was quick to offer tea and coffee.
Service was excellent and all staff very friendly. I would recommend to friends and would happily stay again.
