The Alex hotel was decent for a nights stay however the medium size room was extremely small. We opted for the medium room for the balcony but it was so tiny we couldn’t fit comfortably out there together. The tv remote stopped working a bunch of times and the noise from the pub across the road was extremely loud. There was no fridge in the room so we had to go to the closest supermarket and get a bag of ice to keep our drinks cool. The location was amazing and the condition of the room and staff were great. There are pros and cons to this place but all in all it wasn’t bad.
