Love Longstreet!
We really enjoy staying at Longstreet, its in a remote area near 2 of our favorite places: Ash Meadows and Death Valley. This hotel has a small casino, a well-stocked convenience store, and a cafe. Rooms are simple but comfortable. I need a handicap shower, and they have rooms with that. We can bring our dog. We enjoy their big, reasonably-priced breakfasts. But most of all, we love the grounds. There is a lovely pond out back, and a some farm animals. We always take an apple to feed Ollie the water buffalo! If you need gas, want a dip in the pool, have an RV, or love Old West artifacts, they have all that too. Its by far the best choice near Death Valley (about 30 minutes).

Too much cigarette smoke in the bar and casino; but then this to be expected in Nevada. The sculptures and antique machinery on the grounds were fascinating. The restaurant was not fancy, but good.the staff was most pleasant and accommodating. YES I will stay there again!

Love the ducks
This is the second time we have stayed here and loved our stay both times. We choose the Lakeview option. First time our room was upstairs and could had a better overall view. Second time we stayed at bottom view and closer to one friendly duck.

The amenities were as expected for the price. The Hotel itself is a bit run-down, but the stellar service made up for it. All in all, a great base to explore Death Valley and the area.
