Holiday Inn & Suites is a relatively new motel.
Personally, I think this is the nicest, cleanest motel I've ever stayed at. Everything is new and clean.
The pool was perfect for my 7-year-old to swim in without being held.
The buffet breakfast was fairly priced and well cooked.

Unfortunately our experience with Holiday Inn Geelong was really poor. It was a shame that this new facility has very poor management. We had to wait for 2.5 hours to check in while handling with 2 very tired young children on a super hot day. A "good way" to get you keep buying drinks from the bar. Given we wasted 3 hours waiting for our room, we didn't get the chance to enjoy our stay. The solution they offer was a pitiful discount on our FUTURE stay. With this horrible experience, we'll not return and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The car park has very limited spaces comparing to hotel rooms, we were unable to book a car space. The nearby street parking is not guaranteed and there is no loading bay at the front of the hotel.
The restaurant within the hotel has nice food but on pricy side. Once again, it was short staffed and our side plates never arrived!
We booked buffet breakfast for the next day and yes, the other reviews are correct - by 9am, there is no juice left. And its coffee machine can't even make a simple latte!

This place was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in, so clean, super comfy beds & pillows, amazing staff who were all so friendly & their customer service was above & beyond! The restaurant had some of the best food iv ever eaten & the buffet breakfast is a must, wow they had everything!!

Stayed for 2 nights with the kids and was very happy with everything from the moment we checked in until the moment we left.
Amazing staff!!
House keeping made our beds and tucked in the kids soft toys in and was very cute, they just took those extra steps to make us feel special.
Will definitely be returning 😊
