Better than expected. The staff (especially Lorna) could not have been more helpful. Location was perfect and although breakfast was basic, it was sufficient. The toom is modern and air conditioned (essential at this time of year) and bed very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this Resort to all travellers to Santo.

The name is misleading
It is called beachfront but the beach is terrible. It's dirty and you clearly won't want to swim in it.
Our first night was awful, some drunks chose the hotel parking close to the garden rooms as their party spot and were yelling from midnight to 3am. No one stopped them and we were told the day after that security was too scared to intervene. I thought it was their job..! The staff agreed to upgrade us to an ocean room which are much nicer and eased the end of our stay. But without beach, there wasn't much left to enjoy there. The food is average and not very local, there is no ambience at night. We were very disappointed and could not believe some people had recommended this place on Wotif!!!
Luganville isn't the nicest place to stay in Santo but we were there to dive and would recommend any other hotel that is more centred, this one is really not worth it.

My apologies regarding the drunks on your first night. Unfortunately our security was overwhelmed and the police didn't respond.
Our beach is cleaned every morning but with the strong south easterly on shore winds in the dry season, flotsam and jetsam can be washed up by the waves.
We try to accommodate our guests but as in life, unfortunately we can't please everyone.

Stayed here more than 10 times and it's always met all expectations. The staff treat us like old friends and are more than willing to fulfill reasonable requests. If you want to stay where you're always welcome, get terrific value for money and leave satisfied then this is the place for you.

Nice hotel, good location, lovely gardens
Pros:We liked the location, the garden, the pool, and the communal sitting area
Cons:The communal kitchen had insufficient glasses, cups, and plates
Location:The location was good, just outside the town, you could walk it easily (but a bit hot in summer)
Overall hotel was good, and good value for money, compared to equivalent resorts in Santo. Our room had a strange bed configuration, but would have been good for family with kids, or backpackers. Bathroom was fine, air conditioning worked well. Communal sitting area was excellent, communal kitchen was spacious, but not enough equipment. Restaurant was very nice, food very nice, included breakfast good. Pool and pool area very good, gardens lovely, very spacious. gardens went right to water's edge, you could walk along the beach.

My husband and I needed a room on the outskirts of Luganville for an overnighter, and found the Beachfront Resort "no frills", but perfect for our needs.
There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe and a snack bar/deli. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Free breakfast is served daily. Public spaces have free WiFi. There are 2 meeting rooms available. An outdoor pool, a library, and a terrace are also featured at the family-friendly Beachfront Resort. An airport shuttle (available on request) is available for a fee. Self parking is free. Smoking is allowed in designated areas at this 3-star Luganville resort.
