Great location away from the city center but right on the beach. Staffs (especially Rota) were extremely polite and always willing to help. The apartment had everything we needed to be our home away from home. The property is very kids friendly as it has a playground, kids club and even iguana patting time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this property to anyone especially families.

Great location right on the beach. Nice and quiet away from town but close to great places like Hideaway Island and the Beach Bar. Great amenities with free use of kayaks, bikes, life jackets. Rental car onsite was also very convenient for day tripping. Overall it was better than we expected.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property and again they did not let us down. This time we stayed in the 4 bedroom penthouse. it has great facilities, including a full kitchen. I love that it is out of town (but not to far) that you can relax and the beach is right in your door step. The ladies that look after you are amazing, nothing is ever to hard. a short 2 mins walk and you are at the Beach Bar which has great meals. Thank you Beachfront apartments and we hope to visit again!

Loved how this was so close to a safe swimming beach and just a walk across or free transport to Hideaway Island to Snorkel. This is free access to Kayaks, life Jackets, paddle boards. Also has a swimming pool, playground and restaurant and some units having cooking facilities. Highly recommend! Staff are really friendly and helpful 👍🌞👍

Good access to everything

V.B.A is located in a very convenient position. The famous Beach Bar is a short walk along Mele beach and Hideaway Island ferry departs from a jetty out the front of the Bar. The snorkeling around the island is fantastic! Privately operated Local Buses can be hired from the car park outside the bar to take you to Port Villa but V.B.A's very own driver "Tully" is a champion and his bus is clean and air conditioned. We found it a little frustrating that the staff were not always around to man oceans bar and cafe but when they were the service was mostly friendly. The pool area and deck are rite on the beach and our kids used the pool every day. You help yourself to the water sport gear however the stand up paddle board was falling apart and unusable. The crushed coral pathways are rough so getting around the resort in bare feet was hard work, especially for the kids. The kids club is small and operates once a day for 2-3 hours but our kids played on the equipment and in the play room at other times too. Overall we found it good value and safe for the kids.

Idyllic spot on Mele Bay

Pros: The serene location and privacy, the opportunity to see the Mele villagers in their day to day lives, great beach to run along, walk along and swim.
Cons: Perhaps brighter lights in the apartments: sometimes a little hard to read at night.
Location: The location right on the shore of Mele Bay is perfect: the pool deck is the ideal spot to sit with a glass of wine and watch the spectacular sunsets.
We have just returned from a really wonderful week's holiday at the Vanuatu Beachfront apartments, with our teenage daughter. It is only a small complex of 6 apartments so never felt busy. We had a very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment set back in the grounds but still with an ocean view, so very quiet and we even had a ready made supply of bananas right outside our door. There are an assortment of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for guests to use so an early morning paddle in the kayak over to Hideaway Island, only a few hundred metres away, was a great way to start each day. The very lively Beach Bar is only a minute's walk along the sand and their Friday night fire show is spectacular and not to be missed. The apartment is very well set up to self cater and it is only a 300 vatu minibus ride in to Port Vila to stock up on groceries. There is free wifi and a great selection of movies on demand. The owner Damien is extremely helpful and friendly and all the staff, who come from the nearby village of Mele, are delightful, in particular Juliet, who was always happy to help, and Tully the bus driver who very kindly drove us in to Port Vila on our first day and waited patiently while we did a big grocery shop and then a fruit and vegie shop at the markets.

Pros: Close to hideaway island, mele cascades & beach bar a walk down beach, really enjoyed my stay.
Cons: But far if you need to go to port vila, but b transport only 200vt although i was charged 500vt by shady b but needed to go to city.
Location: Perfect, Away from it all, close to hideaway&cascade
Facilities: Brand new, nicely set out; Value: Fantastic, good; Service: Go the extra mile, Outstanding, really helpful; Cleanliness: Immaculate, Beautiful; excellent, really helpful, would stay again, suitable for all ages & families.
