Inquire about parking card. They won’t tell you.
Why did the front desk say “we do not have parking” when, in fact, I had to find out on my own that there was parking nearby and the hotel gives you a keycard to the parking garage where you can have unlimited in and out privileges once you have the card (from the hotel.) The hotel charges you a flat rate per day for the keycard and you won’t have to pay the parking lots’ rate each time you enter and exit the garage. Check in was quick but we were not told that we had to return the parking garage keycard in order to avoid fee’s. This is a true 3.5 star hotel. Floors needed a good cleaning and there was no daily maid service for our 3 night stay. Room had a small fridge and a microwave and plates/utensils, dish soap, and glasses. No cook top of any sort. Bed was comfortable and they do not have any extra pillows but they sent my requested blanket immediately and sent an extra blanket that I used as an extra pillow. Overall, a good stay and a very short distance away from the cruise port. There was an event taking place downtown and this caused a delay in our car ride getting to us but smooth sailing after the ride finally arrived.

The air conditioning (locked in a closet in our room) dripped non-stop, making a constant loud drip-sound ALL night long. Very difficult to sleep. The front desk staff just said “Yeah, that’s the AC” and basically that’s the way it was going to be. I will not return to Bahia again.

Manatees!
We had an amazing view of the lagoon, which was full of turtles and manatees! Definitely come for the view, and not the free breakfast—everything is wrapped in plastic. Central location, though a bit touristy.

The great challenge was fi ding the parking. I was exhausted and one of your staff guided me over the phone. Not only to parking, but to the entry which was a bit hidden for my tired mind. Wonderful staff!
