Good quality meals, although slow service.
Very competent and friendly staff.
Room subject to excusive truck noise all night.
No breakfast was the clincher in giving this place the thumbs down.

Thank you for your feedback William.I'm sorry if your food order was slow. Last Thursday when you dined with us it was the first night of our new seasonal menu. Whilst we try to ensure this doesn't impact service times, unfortunately it does generally take a few days for the chefs to find the service rhythm of the new menu.You selected our street-side room when you booked, which some people love for the easy access to the shops. All other rooms are on the top level are much more effectively sealed off from any outside noise. Next time you're coming thorough please select one of those, or call us and we will be happy to assist.There are plenty of great breakfast cafes within a few steps of the hotel, which our staff are happy to recommend.We hope you will try us again in the future.

It was a very quiet weeked on the eve of NSW coming out of COVID lockdown. The restaurant/bar wasn't trading on the Sunday but Tim, the manager, gave me a $30 refund for the inconvenience. More than fair I thought. The art deco room was very nice, with plush finishes and a very clean bathroom. Ducted air conditioning is segregated to each room. It's quiet and works very well. View to the hills is lovely. The restaurant does fine cuisine, comparable to any restaurant in capital cities. If you are travelling to Tenterfield and want to go in style then I recommend this hotel.
