The motel room was clean and roomy. Good bath linnen. Located next to Wynnum Shopping Plaza which is very convenient. One minor hiccup - we had placed the bath mat and hand towel to be cleaned and kept the bath towels. However the cleaning staff did not replace the mat and hand towel and placed them back on the rack. Not nice!

We have stayed at the Shangrila Gardens motel several times in the past - we appreciate that the rooms and grounds are well maintained and that the facility is close to the airport.

It was central to everything,the area is quiet. Room is quite small but fine for the one night. It should have been aired out beforehand or have the window in the actual room left open as the room has a smell to it. Room was really dusty but otherwise clean. The king size bed was actually two single mattress's put together,so made for a uncomfortable sleep with our daughter in the bed. I choose this place for the continental breakfast,but that was a disappointment. It was left in the fridge consisting of a juice box, a small packet of cereal with a small long life milk and a tiny cereal bar. That is not a continental breakfast. Their restaurant is also permanently closed. So we had to go find dinner and breakfast which was a shame.

Hi Michelle,Our rooms are all studio rooms stated on our websites/advertisements, not a apartment style room. We apologise about our breakfast option also. We will update this for future guests. Our restaurant has been permanently closed for over 3 years now, which is explained on all our websites. Our staff are more than happy to provide eatery options when called upon, we are here to help! Sorry that some of these things werent up to your standed. We hope you were able to enjoy the stay where you could.
