This is a hidden gem in Key West. The hotel has great charm. There is a Macaw bird up front, a tortoise area with about 6 tortoises! There is a nurse shark feeding three times a day. The continental breakfast was decent with a great view. A free shuttle downtown was so helpful. It was worth the price!

Beware of rooms advertised as “courtyard view”! Our view was the back parking lot where the dumpsters were! And what they called a “patio”, was 2 chairs on the walkway to all the other rooms! The bed was terrible along with the pillows, AC was very hard to regulate and very noisy! We had booked 3 nights, we left after one!

This resort is very unique and has a great vibe. Not your usual cookie-cutter hotel. Staff was wonderful and they had a bus that went to and from Duval street hourly.

Pros: Cute property, friendly staff, awesome pool with bar, free shuttle to Duval street every hour from 8a-10p, free breakfast, property has turtles and parrots which was super cool. Cons: incredibly small shower, no iron, window Ac units that are LOUD! Pool is not heated which is only an issue if you’re traveling in the winter.
