Malo Island is a cool place to see, however, accommodation in the middle of the city is extremely limited. You'll definitely have more luck finding a place to rest your head at any of the 2 options within 10 kilometres.
If you want to be as close as possible to the main areas, the Bokissa Private Island Resort and Ratua Private Island are your best choices.
If you find yourself searching for more options in Malo Island, consider the Lope Lope Lodge and the Aore Island Resort. They are 25 kilometres and 13 kilometres away from the city's main streets. If these aren't for you, try the Coral Quays Fish and Dive Resort or the Village de Santo Resort.
After you've hung out in Malo Island for a while, spread your wings and discover Vanuatu's other delights. Take a gander at the open-air markets. You should also admire the region's beaches. Common things to do in this part of Vanuatu include mountain climbing, zip-lining and abseiling.
If you'd like to experience some nearby localities, try Luganville and Turtle Bay. Journey 17 kilometres to the north from Malo Island and you'll locate Luganville. Alternatively, Turtle Bay is 35 kilometres to the north. Hotels in Luganville are the Deco Stop Lodge and Beachfront Resort. The Turtle Bay Lodge and Reef Resort are some of the options in Turtle Bay.
If you're travelling into or out of Santo-Pekoa International Airport and would like to stay nearby, check out the latest deals at The Espiritu or the Two Canoes.
