Filthy room. Black mould on my bedside lamp. Disgusting slime marks on the glass bathroom door. Went to make a coffee and the sachet was ancient and so dried out I could not get it to exit the packet. The phone in the room does not work and could not call reception. No iron or board to sort my clothes for the next day. No internet or Netflix - this would be an extra charge on top of my $289 Tiny and filthy room. No restaurant or room service so had to order pizza to the front desk and go and collect it. This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. On departure this morning the lady at the front desk asked how my stay was so I told her and that I had taken photos (she did not want to see so can’t have been interested). She said she was sorry. Not as much as me! I rarely give reviews but people get really sick from black mould and they should be warned of that and of the fact that the hotel is not providing the services claimed online.

Loved it so much we’ve already booked to stay again in April 2024 and January 2025! The property is in a great location, staff were lovely, very accommodating and great with our kids. Despite the issues due to recent floods everyone had a smile on their face and no request was too much. Thank you Mantra Portsea!
