There are a heap of building works around the property and limited parking for a big car, but Johnson was lovely to answer the phone out of hours and arrange self-check-in, but the rooms are very basic - adding towel rails would be a big help. And the non-smoking signs are obviously ignored as the place reeks of smoke.

Our room did not look at all like the photos. It was filthy, with mould in the bathroom, cigarette ash in the draws, a broken washing basket and a half consumed drink left from the previous guest. There was no hot water the night we arrived, the room was not secure, the shower head was broken, and there was no tv remote. We left our accommodation early due to the lack of cleanliness and poor standard.

this property was filthy, old, small, in need of repairs & overpriced. it is actually like a backpackers & has permanent residents. there was an awful communal kitchen which had a sink full of dirty dishes. there were marks on the walls, old crumbs of food in the bar fridge, thick dust around floor edges & someones stale chips under the bed. do not pay money to stay there.
